IMPLEMENTASI PERMAINAN ULAR TANGGA PAI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MINAT DAN KETERLIBATAN BELAJAR SISWA SD TLAHAB KIDUL

Abstract

Learning in elementary schools often faces challenges due to low student motivation caused by monotonous and one-way teaching methods. This study aims to increase student interest, participation, and understanding by implementing the educational game Snakes and Ladders Islamic Religious Education (PAI), which contains questions and exemplary values ​​from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The method used in this study was a qualitative approach, through observation, interviews, and documentation of 23 third-grade students at SDN 2 Tlahab Kidul. The results showed that the educational game can increase student enthusiasm, strengthen group cooperation, and foster sportsmanship and an understanding of Islamic Religious Education values ​​such as honesty, trustworthiness, and hard work. Overall, the Snakes and Ladders Islamic Religious Education game proved effective as an interactive and enjoyable learning method, and can support the achievement of learning objectives both cognitively and affectively
